Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Work as a primary member of design teams developing new Power Quality products.
· Translate development needs into functional requirements and execute a packaging design to meet these requirements.
· Key designs areas include: Fluid and forced air thermal design, electronic subsystem and electrical system interconnections, enclosure layout and architecture, safety, maintenance and field service issues, dynamic shock and vibration with respect to equipment weight, mounting and location, general chassis and cabinet layout, and test production fixtures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analysis of data from all PreVail systems to establish rule base faults and or warnings inside the PreVail for future features with PreVail
Use existing Reliability Center Maintenance practice with Failure Mode Effect Analysis to improve the capabilities of the RCM plan along with adding value to the PreVail system
Ensure the data quality of the PreVail system and make the necessary recommendations for correcting data quality issues
Provide technical support to the needs of external customers and MinePro representatives in the use of PreVail
Interact with MinePro and PreVail customers to determine focused efforts for analysis for product improvement and monitoring
Determine interaction of support systems such as power monitoring, oil sampling and vibration analysis with the PreVail system
Tasks associated w/ above responsibilities:
Logging into PreVail to ensure connectivity of selected PreVail systems for performance and checking of site usage / data availability
Working with various Mine Pro members and Milwaukee Corporate, on the proper use of PreVail system to the LCM (Life Cycle Management) guidelines and policy
Analysis of shovel data to determine measurable trends which can provide repeatable warning / faults to the PreVail users to improve machine performance
Working with Engineering on product improvements that tie into PreVail
Visit key customers on a quarterly basis and review progress on PreVail strategies and system usage
Prepare presentations to senior management on progress of PreVail
Work with the LCM group for processes done in PreVail that will enhance the RCM maintenance plan done on LCM contracts
May need to assist in fault analysis to customer request, weeding through their data for root cause
Coordinate efforts of Reliability Engineering, Global Technical Service, Product Support, Peak Services Training, Mine Pro LCM Members to the PreVail / LCM Initiative
Drive PreVail as a preferred system in support of the world-class maintenance practices
Make the necessary changes happen within RHM group and related support groups inside Milwaukee and will be the a main contact for Mine Pro assistance in detail analysis of existing faults and warnings
Will have regular interaction with mine managers, general managers, VP’s of various sites for continuation of existing contracts plus negotiations of new contracts, (MARC & CPH), engineering product support

Candidates with an Associate, Bachelor, or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and possessing applicable experience may also be considered.
2) A demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team while providing task oriented direction to others
in order to complete projects within required timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications:
1) A 3.0/4.0 grade point average (GPA) is preferred.
2) Knowledge and background in high speed disposable absorbent product manufacturing including technology
understanding and development with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in major capital projects.
3) Experience with manufacturing control systems such as programmable logic controllers (Rockwell Automation
Logix family), EtherNet/Industrial Protocol, Reliance Automax, SQL, and GE iHistorian systems.
4) Up to 6 years of experience in a variety of plant and staff assignments, including maintenance and operations.
5) Experience working with external technical service suppliers.
6) Experience and expertise with Kimberly-Clark engineering procedures and processes.
