Uline seeks a US Customs Compliance Manager at its Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (south of Milwaukee).

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 


Manage the input and system maintenance of accurate Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification as set forth by U.S. Customs regulations.

Ensure Uline products meet Mexican Official Standards (NOMs).

Provide guidance to Uline staff on trade compliance.

Manage import / export licenses and approvals from U.S. and foreign regulatory agencies.

Oversee associated record keeping.


 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 


Bachelor’s degree.

3 - 5 years experience.

Direct experience in clearance of imports to the U.S. (custom brokerage, interactions with import brokers and / or U.S. Customs and Border Protection)

Direct experience with export shipments from the U.S.

Experience with Mexican Official Standards (NOMs).

Technical expertise with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. import regulations, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Prior understanding of NAFTA.

Strong process and technical knowledge.

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Nursing Supervisor – Portage/Waupun/Fond du Lac

 

The Department of Corrections is currently seeking Nursing Supervisors for Columbia Correctional Institution (Portage), the Dodge Correctional Institution Infirmary (Waupun) and Taycheedah Correctional Institution (Fond du Lac).  Starting salary for Columbia is at least $83,000 annually (depending on qualifications) and the starting salary for the Infirmary and Taycheedah is at least $91,872 annually (depending on qualifications).  All also include an excellent benefits package.  Well qualified applicants will have considerable nursing experience in a correctional setting and/or supervisory experience in a health care setting.  Duties include management of health services to offenders, supervise health care staff, and assume responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical programs to advance patient care and nursing practice.  Must have registration or eligibility for registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin.  

 

Benefits include paid vacation, 36 hours personal holiday, 16 sick days per year, health insurance ($78/month in most cases for family plan), ability to convert sick leave to pay for health insurance on retirement, retirement plan currently at 11.2% annually, and optional deferred compensation program.
